ughhh this song has me alllll in my feelings! and i really hate that i’m starting to love wale’s music, but these lyrics are just tooo real! been reflecting about life and love a lot lately…definitely still believe in love and always will, but it’s hard not to be jaded these days.

growing up it all seemed so black and white…you meet someone, you fall in love, you get married, and you start a family. but relationships are so much more complicated than that especially with the way people live their lives nowadays. what i always thought i wanted just seems so unrealistic now, but i’m starting to be okay with that. i’d rather enjoy what is than dwell on what’s not. why is growing up so hard?
